The University of Tulsa became the 20th school to make a football scholarship offer to Kaiser junior Michael Eletise.
The 6-foot-4, 305-pound offensive lineman shared the news on his Twitter page tonight. Eletise has been a busy young man, traveling near and far for combines and camps. The exposure has been invaluable. A month ago, he had five scholarships. But his performances at the Nike Opening, Nike Combine, and camps in California — as well as his NCAA qualifier status — made him the No. 1 guard prospect in the West region, according to Scout.com.

THANKFUL & BLESSED to receive an offer to play football for the University of Tulsa. #Hurricanes @brian_ohana5
Tulsa’s connection to the islands may be Brian Norwood, the former Radford and UH standout. He is a co-defensive coordinator for the Hurricanes.
Also earlier today, Eletise told Scott Eklund of Dawgman.com that he intends to attend the University of Washington’s Junior Day on Apr. 18.
If there’s any glimmer of hope for Hawaii fans, there’s this: Eletise has a strong interest in studying Marine Science.
