Eletise moving up at Nike Opening

Michael Eletise is one of six players who were a cut above at today’s Nike Opening regional at Los Angeles today.

As a result, the Kaiser offensive lineman has been invited to Nike Football The Opening, which will be held at a later date. The 6-foot-4, 305-pound junior has 18 scholarship offers at this point.

247Sports.com’s Steve Wiltfong wrote this about Eletise.

Honolulu (Hawaii) Kaiser Top247 offensive guard Michael Eletise performed well at a Hawaii Nike event last month and came to California and did his thing again. The 6-foot-4, 302-pound Eletise is very impressive physically, an upside that could take him all the way to Sundays. He was dominant during 1-on-1s. This could end up being a UCLA-USC recruiting battle in the end.

Wiltfong also praised Mililani junior running back Vavae Malepeai.

Mililani (Hawaii) High running back Vavae Malepeai proved deadly in the open field. The No. 28 running back in the country has several Pac 12 offers.

Wiltfong also wrote about Sean Auwae, Kapolei’s junior offensive lineman, who received a scholarship offer from Washington State after the Opening.
