Cornhuskers want Eletise

The phone calls and texts keep coming for Michael Eletise and his family.

Nebraska is the newest school to offer the Kaiser offensive lineman a scholarship. The Cornhuskers made the offer official on Saturday, and the 6-foot-4, 305-pound Kaiser junior shared the news on Twitter.

Nofo Eletise, Michael’s father, said the family sent links to a recent Hawaii Prep World interview with his son to the ‘Huskers staff recently.

“We are literally praising God and thanking Him for His blessing. Now we pray for endurance for Michael as he needs to keep focus on school,” Nofo Eletise texted.

Michael Eletise also has offers from Colorado, Texas Tech, Arizona State, Hawaii, UCLA, Cal, Arizona and Kansas. That’s four new offers within the past week.

Nevada, Oregon and USC have shown interest.

Nofo Eletise confirmed that Michael is a full NCAA qualifier already.
