Radford junior wide receiver Thomas Reid III is on the radar of college football coaches. Ten days ago, Reid received his first scholarship offer, from Hawaii. Today, Nevada, via assistant coach and former UH quarterback Nick Rolovich, became the second university to make an offer to Reid. “I’m just glad Rolo saw it, too,” Radford coach Fred Salanoa texted this afternoon. The University of Hawaii has offered a football scholarship to Keoni-Kordell Makekau. Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance shared the news on its Facebook page this afternoon. The versatile ‘Iolani junior received his first offer on Friday from Washington State. As a wide receiver, he had 49 receptions for 756 yards and seven touchdown catches as the Raiders won the Division II state title. Keoni-Kordell Makekau has his first FBS scholarship offer, and it couldn’t have come from a more pass-happy program. Washington State, coached by Mike Leach, made an offer to the ‘Iolani wide receiver this morning. Makekau had 49 receptions for 756 yards and seven touchdowns last fall to help the Raiders capture the Division II state championship. Washington State has offered a football scholarship to Konawaena defensive back Luca Vartic. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound junior announced the news on his Twitter page this afternoon. Luca Vartic ‏@L_WON1 Washington State offered #blessed Vartic also has a scholarship offer from Hawaii. He is one of a dozen island players who were bumped up to three-star status in mid-March by Scout.com’s Doug Kimmel.

Kamehameha linebacker Tainoa Foster received a scholarship offer to play football for the University of Hawaii in 2016, according to his coach Doug Cosbie.
