Izaiah Lavatai, a three-sport star, was picked as Radford’s male athlete of the year, athletic director Kelly Sur announced Monday. Lavatai played football and basketball and was on the track and field team for the Rams. Volleyball and football player Karson Cruz and judoka and wrestler Zorich Palimo‘o earned awards as Na Menehune’s outstanding male athletes.
