Lavatai is Radford’s athlete of the year

Izaiah Lavatai, a three-sport star, was picked as Radford’s male athlete of the year, athletic director Kelly Sur announced Monday.

Lavatai played football and basketball and was on the track and field team for the Rams.

Volleyball player and track athlete Carlyann Butz and track athlete and cheerleader Talia Webster were chosen as the school’s female athletes of the year.


Radford’s 2014-15 athletic award winners are listed below.
