Saint Louis’ Stanley McKenzie has been named a Polynesian Bowl All-Star. McKenzie, a 6-foot-2, 270-pound defensive tackle, made the Honolulu Star-Advertiser All-State third team last year despite playing behind Polynesian Bowl alums Faatui Tuitele and Gino Quinones. Kahuku offensive lineman Micah Soliai Howlett has been named a Polynesian Bowl All-Star. The 6-foot-4, 290-pound senior is the 16th Red Raider to be selected to the game in the four years of its existence but just the third offensive lineman from Kahuku (Vili Fisiiahi, Enokk Vimahi). The 2020 Polynesian Bowl will take place Saturday, Jan. 18, at Aloha Stadium featuring 100 of the best high school football players in the country. The Polynesian Football Hall of Fame announced its 2019 Watch List for the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year Award today. Fourteen of the 63 players named to the list are alums of high schools in Hawaii.
