The first Polynesian Bowl Senior Showcase for current Hawaii high schools seniors has been moved from Saint Louis to Kamehameha. The event, which will take place on Sunday, Jan. 21, is an opportunity for players to showcase their skills in front of more than 20 coaches from various colleges who will be in attendance. Mililani, which finished off a perfect 10-0 regular season with a 39-19 win over Nanakuli on Tuesday night, is the only undefeated team heading into the OIA girls basketball playoffs that start next Tuesday. Former Kapolei quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa and Saint Louis defensive lineman Faatui Tuitele are among the first 24 Polynesian Bowl all-stars selected for the 2019 Polynesian Bowl, which will be held Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019.
