Campbell catcher Jocelyn Alo continues to reap awards. On Monday, Alo was named to the CBS MaxPreps All-American Softball first team for 2017. Alo is a two-time state player of the year and a member of the Sabers’ squad that has captured three state championships in a row. She is also a wrestling state champion. Jocelyn Alo was one of 12 new inductees to the prestigious Hawaii Hall of Honor on Sunday night. By Monday morning, the two-time All-State position player of the year in softball picked up another honor. She is the Gatorade Hawaii softball player of the year. Kamehameha junior Dallas Millwood was named the ILH softball most valuable player for the second straight year while Maryknoll coach John Uekawa was named the coach of the year after leading the Spartans to the league title.
