Kahuku’s Aliki Vimahi had an impressive showing at the Nike Opening regional event in Oakland, Calif., over the weekend and was rewarded with his 10th scholarship offer. The nation’s No. 1-ranked kicker wants to make his college decision by the end of the summer. Hawaii has got some competition for 2017 football recruiting prospect Morris Unutoa. The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Kapaa offensive lineman has received a total of five scholarship offers according to a student athlete advisor and coach at Kapaa. Joining Hawaii in offering Unutoa are Brigham Young, Colorado, Washington State and Vanderbilt. Unutoa’s father of the same name spent seven seasons in the NFL playing 86 games at center for the Philadelphia Eagles, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Buffalo Bills from 1996 to 2002. […]
