Kamehameha defensive end/linebacker prospect Andrew Aleki added his eighth scholarship offer on Sunday. Aleki, who is 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, picked up an offer from Utah to add to an offer sheet that includes Washington State, Oregon State, Air Force, Hawaii, UNLV, San Jose State and San Diego State. Kahuku’s Kaniho commits to Boise State

The reigning Honolulu Star-Advertiser defensive player of the year will continue his football career in the Mountain West Conference. Kahuku defensive back Kekaula Kaniho made his commitment public on Sunday, tweeting that he will accept a scholarship offer from Boise State. The service academies have some company in recruiting Kamehameha senior defensive tackle Nakoa Pauole. Fresno State, which has been busy in the islands this week offering Saint Louis DL Faatui Tuitele and Kahuku DE Samson Reed, have extended an offer to the 6-foot-2, 270-pound Pauole. Saint Louis defensive tackle Faatui Tuitele has established himself as the No. 1 prospect out of Hawaii for the class of 2019. He’s also become one of the top prospects in the entire nation. Just a couple of recruiting tidbits to pass along. Waianae offensive lineman Onesimus Clarke says he is up to five Division I scholarship offers. The 6-foot-5, 290-pounder, who was named to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser All-State first team this past season, says he has received scholarship offered from Boise State and Nevada to bring his total to five. Kapolei defensive end Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa- has received a football scholarship offer from Notre Dame. Notre Dame Digest reported the offer on Wednesday via its Twitter page. Irish Sports Daily later reported that Tagovailoa-Amosa may make an official visit to the South Bend, Ind. campus. According to sources at Punahou, sophomore Falcon Kaumatule is no longer attending basketball practice. They believe he is in Las Vegas and will transfer to Bishop Gorman High School, though nothing official has been shared with Punahou.
