Mililani alum Agasiva commits to Pac-12 school

Former Mililani all-state offensive lineman Jordan Agasiva, who committed to Hawaii out of high school but ended up at Pima Community College in Arizona, committed to Utah on Christmas evening. Former Pearl City quarterback Jordan Ta’amu, who spent the last two seasons at New Mexico Military Institute, has committed to Ole Miss. Ta’amu chose the Rebels over offers from New Mexico, Minnesota, Eastern Kentucky and Southern Mississippi. Three weeks ago, he was named Southwest Junior College Conference player of the year after finishing with 3,190 total yards and 38 touchdowns this past season. Saint Louis quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is making his official visit to Alabama, and the way it sounds it is a mere formality. The state champion’s father, Galu, told a reporter there that Alabama is their only choice whether offensive coordinator Lane Kiffen moves on to LSU or not. Coming out of high school, Jordan Ta‘amu didn’t attract a big crowd. As of this week, Ta‘amu has five football scholarship offers after a banner sophomore season at New Mexico Military Institute.
