Utah State is taking the plunge for Tausili Akana. The Aggies made a scholarship offer to the 6-foot-4, 210-pound sophomore from Kamehameha. Akana has spent this fall season playing for Wasatch in Utah, just a two-hour drive from the USU campus. The defensive end/outside linebacker now has seven offers. Oregon State offered sophomore Tausili Akana a football scholarship on Wednesday. Hawaii, BYU, Utah, Arizona State and UNLV made offers to the 6-foot-4, 210-pound defensive end/linebacker earlier. Oregon State assistant coaches Jake Cookus and Legi Suiauona have been in contact with Akana, who transferred from Kamehameha to Wasatch (Utah) in July.
