Naighel Calderon becomes 1st Lanai inductee to Hall of Honor

There is nothing concrete yet in Carter Kamana’s future. But it’s beginning to crystallize bit by bit. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound junior has been contacted by a number of Mountain West Conference football programs. On Tuesday, a Pac-12 Conference recruiter came calling on the ‘Iolani campus. San Francisco 49ers and HHSAA to run free youth football camp

West Coast NFL teams are developing a strong interest in Hawaii. The Los Angeles Rams will host a preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys this fall. And now, the San Francisco 49ers, the Hawaii High School Athletic Association and USA Football are partnering to host a free youth football camp on Friday, the HHSAA announced Tuesday. Maui’s first informational community meeting for Hawaii 8 will be held Thursday. Hawaii 8 is a new club football organization for college students in the state that is slated to start a five-team league in the spring of 2020. The first two informational community meetings of Hawaii 8 will be held next week. Hawaii 8 is a new club football organization for college students in Hawaii that is slated to start a five-team league in the spring of 2020. BIIF awaits Konawaena decision as three-tiered schedule is not an option
