Kalaheo’s Harrison named Gatorade POTY

Kalaheo’s Kupa’a Harrison was named the Gatorade boys basketball state player of the year on Friday. Harrison, who was second in the Star-Advertiser Fab. 15 voting behind teammate Kaleb Gilmore, helped lead the Mustangs to a 31-3 record and a state championship. The 6-foot-5 guard/forward averaged 13.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 2.8 steals and 1.5 blocks per game.
