It seems like Punahou never loses in tennis, mostly because of athletes like Kawika Lam. Lam won three singles titles and a doubles crown in his four years of prep tennis and for that will be inducted into the Enterprise / HHSAA Hall of Honor on June 7 at Dole Cannery Square’s Pomaikai Ballroom. The 400 plus players here at UH endured temperatures near 90 degrees this morning on the second day of the GPA Maximum Exposure Camp. Lunch break lasted until 2 p.m., wisely so. 2:35 p.m. The last 30 minutes were all about special teams, particularly gunners and punt return blocking. No linemen. This might be the golden age of high school swimming. Kanoa Kaleoaloha will be the fifth swimmer in the last three years inducted into the Enterprise / HHSAA Hall of Honor at Dole Cannery Square’s Pomaikai Ballroom on June 7. He will be inducted with Mid-Pacific’s Lena Hayakawa, the second straight year multiple swimmers have been inducted.
