Punahou running back Wayne Taulapapa gave his oral commitment to BYU on Tuesday, according to Rivals.com. Taulapapa, who is 5 feet 11 and 202 pounds, has rushed for 558 yards and eight TDs while playing in five games for No. 2 Punahou (5-0, 2-0 Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division I) this season. Aiea’s Kuia recognized as school record holder

For two days, Aiea senior Kobe Kato was thought to be the single-game record holder for Na Alii in passing after his 394-yard performance in a 46-30 loss to Campbell on Saturday. McKinley to forfeit last 2 football games

McKinley will not win a game in 2015. That’s because the Tigers are forfeiting their final two games of the season after starting 0-6. On Tuesday, Oahu Interscholastic Association football coordinator Harold Tanaka confirmed McKinley’s decision to end its varsity season. The JV team will continue to play. ‘Iolani took 17th place out of 64 teams in the Durango Fall Classic girls volleyball tournnament last weekend in Las Vegas. The Raiders, who are the No. 1 team in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser Top 10, also won the Bronze Division final with a 25-15, 25-12 victory over Clovis (Calif.) in the tournament hosted by Durango High.
