Injured Mililani senior quarterback McKenzie Milton may return to full practice next week, Trojans head coach Rod York texted Hawaii Prep World on Wednesday. “Right now, Dillon Gabriel is starting,” York texted. “He (McKenzie) is getting better. Kahuku breaks into MaxPreps’ top 100

Kahuku vaulted into the top 100 teams in the MaxPreps high school football national computer rankings. The Red Raiders (10-0), ranked No. 3 in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser’s Top 10, jumped 47 spots to No. 86 nationally and are MaxPreps’ top-rated Hawaii team. Below is a list of Kauai Interscholastic Federation football championship teams and head coaches since 1944, thanks in part to John Altomare at Waimea High School. Most of the information comes from a program published in KIF programs in the mid-1990s. Saint Louis’ Ronson Timbreza sealed the Crusaders’ first ILH title since 2010 with an interception in the final minute to preserve a 27-23 win over Punahou on Saturday night at Aloha Stadium.
