Sabers’ Alo is Gatorade player of year

Jocelyn Alo is the Gatorade Hawaii Softball Player of the Year, the Gatorade Company announced Thursday. The award recognizes athletic excellence, high standards of academic achievement and exemplary character on and off the field and it distinguishes Alo as Hawaii’s best high school softball player. She is now a finalist for the company’s national softball player of the year honor. Brennan is officially a Moanalua assistant

It took a while for the paperwork to go through, but former Hawaii star quarterback Colt Brennan is now the quarterbacks coach at Moanalua, athletic director Joel Kawachi told Hawaii Prep World on Wednesday. On March 16, there were reports that Brennan was hired by Na Menehune as an assistant under new head coach Savaii Eselu. Kadooka returns to ILH as Maryknoll head coach

The Maryknoll baseball program has been on the up and up for quite some time, and it just received another boost. Spartans athletic director Ben Valle confirmed Friday that Eric Kadooka has accepted an offer to be the head coach. The final appointment won’t be made until it is accepted by the Hawaii Diocese of the Catholic Church.
