The 2016 Open Division state champion Saint Louis Crusaders are ranked ninth in the West Region according to the final USA Today rankings released on Monday. The Crusaders (10-1) knocked off Kahuku, 30-14, in the Open Division state final and won their final five games of the season after losing to Punahou, 33-20. Mililani alum Agasiva commits to Pac-12 school

Former Mililani all-state offensive lineman Jordan Agasiva, who committed to Hawaii out of high school but ended up at Pima Community College in Arizona, committed to Utah on Christmas evening. Agasiva, who is 6-foot-5 and 310 pounds, whittled down 18 scholarship offers to Oregon State, TCU and Utah before finally selecting the Utes out of the Pac-12. The largest all-girls wrestling tournament in the country is moving along toward its final round. Punahou’s Pa’ani Challenge is being streamed live with all three mats showcased. ILH underclassmen ineligible for showcase

A total of 13 underclassmen from ILH schools picked to participate in next month’s Junior Prep Sports Paradise Classic at Aloha Stadium will not be allowed to play due to eligibility rules.
