The 2017 OIA girls basketball playoffs begin Friday with six games — four in Division I and two in Division II. Kahuku’s Kaniho commits to Boise State

The reigning Honolulu Star-Advertiser defensive player of the year will continue his football career in the Mountain West Conference. Kahuku defensive back Kekaula Kaniho made his commitment public on Sunday, tweeting that he will accept a scholarship offer from Boise State.
