If the name Aaron Faumui sounds familiar, it’s because the Kapolei senior defensive lineman who was carrying a big stick Friday night in a 23-7 nonleague, season-opening road win over Campbell was a member of the 2015 Radford Division II state champions. Oahu 14-year-old signed by pro club in Mexico

Cuauhtemoc Ochoa was going to be a ninth-grader at Moanalua this fall, but a soccer opportunity changed his plans. Ochoa, 14, was signed by Pachuca, a pro soccer club in Mexico, according to his club coach Hugo Gutierrez, who is also the head coach at Moanalua High.
