Baldwin is No. 16 in USA Today Super 25

The Baldwin Bears baseball team moved up eight spots to No. 16 in the USA Today Super 25. The Bears wrapped up their sixth Division I state championship on Friday with a 14-4, five-inning mercy-rule victory over Waiakea. Damien on upward trend with first major state title

The Damien baseball team that kept on winning against the odds to capture the Division II title in the Wally Yonamine Foundation/HHSAA Baseball State Championships on Friday did something no other team in school history had done. The Baldwin Bears were virtually perfect in 2018. The final Star-Advertiser Baseball Top 10 of the season has all 10 first-places votes tallied for the Bears, who captured their second state championship in the past three seasons.
