The girls will take over the stage when the newest class of the Enterprise / HHSAA Hall of Honor is inducted at the Pomaikai Ballroom at Dole Cannery on June 3. Nine girls will be inducted into Hawaii’s version of the high school hall of fame on that day, breaking the record of eight set in 1998 and matched in 2001. With wide-open and loving arms, a proud Ewa Beach community welcomed home Tua Tagovailoa on Saturday with a parade and celebration at the Ewa Beach Boys and Girls Club near Campbell High School. Konawaena’s Bobbie Awa to coach for USA Basketball

Longtime Konawaena girls basketball coach Bobbie Awa will be wearing red, white and blue the next time she coaches a game on the hardwood. USA Basketball has named Awa as one of four court coaches for the upcoming Women’s U17 World Cup Trials May 24-28 at Colorado Springs, Colo.
