The final day of the OIA boys basketball regular season on Thursday shook up the league playoff bracket. Leilehua’s 50-49 victory over Mililani gave the Mules the No. 1 seed in the West with the previously undefeated Trojans dropping to the No. 2 seed. Defending state champion ‘Iolani will attempt to defend its title as the No. 1 seed in the Snapple/HHSAA Girls Basketball State Championships beginning Monday. BIIF champion Konawaena earned the No. 2 seed with OIA champion Kahuku edging out MIL champion Lahainaluna for the No. 3 seed in the bracket released tonight. ILH champion Kamehameha and OIA champion Mililani are the top two seeds in Division I of The Queen’s Medical Center/HHSAA Girls Soccer State Championships beginning Monday with four first-round games. Kalani’s Paulina Ruelas won four gold medals to lead the Falcons to the girls team title at the 2020 OIA Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday at K. The Kaiser boys soccer team, which hasn’t won an OIA championship since 2014, locked up the No. 1 seed out of the East in the upcoming league playoffs with a 2-0 win over Kalaheo in the regular-season finale on Saturday.
