Brackets for the 2018 Atlas Insurance Agency/HHSAA State Judo Championships have been released.

Eight of the 20 No. 1 seeds competing in the tournament on Saturday at Stan Sheriff Center were state champions a year ago.
Only Mililani’s Mayu Wise is gunning for a third consecutive state championship on the girls side. The No. 1 seed at 122 pounds after beating Roosevelt’s Macy Higa, a three-time OIA champ, at the OIA championships last week, Wise won two years ago at 115 pounds before claiming last year’s title at 122.
Other No. 1 seeds going for a second straight crown are Waipahu’s Precious Tampos (98), Kalani’s Czarina Pineda-Abaya, Mid-Pacific’s CJ Pascual-Tabuyo (139) and Pearl City’s Jennie Fuamatu (220).
Moanalua’s Amanda Higa, The No. 1 seed at 115 pounds, won the 98-pound state title two years ago.
On the boys side, Moanalua’s Chase Wusstig (178), Kalani’s Kailer Okura and McKinley’s Laulii Iosefa (220) are No. 1 seeds looking for a repeat state championship.
Moanalua’s Noah Wusstig, the defending champion at 132 pounds, is unseeded at 145 pounds after losing to No. 1 seed Rodan Salangdron of Kapolei in the OIA final.
