Kamehameha’s Futa wants to repeat 2 years later

Kamehameha’s Donavyn Futa is back at the state wrestling tournament for the first time in two years, and she’s been relatively hard to track down since winning the 113-pound division in 2014. Day 1 done: ‘Iolani, Kamehameha wrestle to leads

The ‘Iolani boys and Kamehameha girls are in the lead after the first day of the Chevron/Hawaii High School Athletic Association State Championships on Friday. Individually, the semifinal matches are all set and will start Saturday at 10 a.m. The Raiders boys team has 89 points, and Campbell (63.5), Kapolei (59.5), Waianae (56.5) and Moanalua (53.5) round out the top five.
