Day 1 done: ‘Iolani, Kamehameha wrestle to leads

The ‘Iolani boys and Kamehameha girls are in the lead after the first day of the Chevron/Hawaii High School Athletic Association State Championships on Friday.

Individually, the semifinal matches are all set and will start Saturday at 10 a.m.


The Raiders boys team has 89 points, and Campbell (63.5), Kapolei (59.5), Waianae (56.5) and Moanalua (53.5) round out the top five.


The Warriors girls team has 101.5 points, and Lahainaluna (97.5), Pearl City (57.5), Kapolei (53) and Roosevelt (50) round out the top five.
