No admission price for Mililani vs. Saint Louis

Absolutely the best ticket in town for upcoming high school football won’t be a ticket at all. On Aug. 8, defending state champion Mililani hosts ILH power Saint Louis for a 7 p.m. matchup at John Kauinana Stadium. A pair of Saint Louis teammates landed in Scout.com’s top 300 recruiting rankings for 2017 released on Wednesday. Crusaders quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who holds at least 15 known offers already, is ranked No. 124 overall and 12th among players at his position. Crusaders’ Herbig commits to Stanford

It will be “Hello Northern California” for Nate Herbig next fall. Saint Louis’ 6-foot-4, 320-pound offensive lineman made an oral commitment to accept a football scholarship to Stanford on Thursday. He made the announcement on a taped segment with sportscasters Rob DeMello and Sam Spangler on KHON-2 TV on the 6 p.m. news. Saint Louis offensive lineman Nate Herbig will make his oral commitment Thursday on a taped segment with sportscaster Rob DeMello on KHON-2 TV news. Herbig, who has been offered scholarships to play football at nine Division I FBS schools, planned to tape the segment Thursday morning. Saint Louis offensive lineman Nate Herbig is leaving quite an impression at Stanford this weekend. The 6-foot-4, 320-pound senior-to-be received an offer from the Cardinal this afternoon, his ninth from a BCS school.
