Malepeai gets offer from Vanderbilt

Vavae Malepeai is becoming one of the most heavily recruited island running backs in recent memory. Vanderbilt made the Mililani junior a football scholarship offer on Sunday, becoming the seventh school to declare its explicit interest in the 6-foot, 200-pound all-state performer. Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance shared the news on its Facebook page. Malepeai’s other offers are from Colorado, Washington, Cal, Hawaii, Utah State and Washington State. Auwae’s 5th offer: Utah

Sean Auwae, a.k.a. Toleafoa Auwae is on the radar without a doubt. The 6-foot-4, 300-pound Kapolei offensive lineman received his fifth offer today, this one from Utah. Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance shared the news on its Facebook page this afternoon. Auwae also has offers from Idaho State, Texas Tech, Washington State and San Diego State.

The scholarship offers have been rolling in for Kapolei offensive lineman Toleafoa “Sean” Auwae. College football coaches know no end to a good day’s work. Michael Eletise has learned this quite well. Football season is months away, but the Kaiser junior received his 20th scholarship offer on Monday night. San Diego State is the newest school on a growing list of offers for Kapolei offensive lineman Toleafoa “Sean” Auwae. The Aztecs made an offer to him today, according to Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance. It’s the second offer to an island player in less than a month by SDSU.
