Absolutely the best ticket in town for upcoming high school football won’t be a ticket at all. On Aug. 8, defending state champion Mililani hosts ILH power Saint Louis for a 7 p.m. matchup at John Kauinana Stadium. It’s official: Pohai Lee to coach Baldwin

On June 4, Hawaii Prep World reported that Pohai Lee was close to becoming the football head coach at Baldwin. It’s now official. Lee is taking over the Bears program, according to Rob Collias‘ story in the Maui News. Lee, the nephew of heralded Saint Louis coach Cal Lee, is a former Damien athletic director who was also an assistant at Kaiser and Baldwin. Lee’s real name is Thomas Pohaikealoha Lee. Kaiser loses quarterback to Farrington

Junior Justin Uahinui, who was set to be the starting quarterback for Kaiser this season, has transferred to Farrington according to Cougars head coach Cameron Higgins. Higgins said before Monday’s practice that he found out “a couple of days ago right before camp” of Uahinui’s decision to transfer from other players on the team.
