Te’o-Nesheim is new HPA football coach

Hawaii Preparatory Academy has a new football coach. Volleyball standout setter ShaRae Niu was one of six Kahuku seniors who signed their letters of intent on Wednesday. Niu signed with Hawaii-Hilo. Teammate Carey Williams signed with the University of Portland. Cheyenne Te’o signed with Notre Dame de Namur. Shirota out as Maui coach; Sabers searching

Keith Shirota stepped down from his post as the Maui High football coach, Sabers athletic director Michael Ban confirmed today. One likely change, according to multiple sources close to the decision-making process, will be a field of six teams in all three divisions.
