Moanalua defensive tackle Tupu Alualu has parlayed a fantastic senior season into a spot in the 2019 Polynesian Bowl. The 6-foot-2, 310-pound senior was named a Polynesian Bowl All Star today after leading Na Menehune to an undefeated regular season and the No. 1 seed in the OIA playoffs entering Saturday’s game against Castle. Kamehameha gathers to honor late coach Santos

Kamehameha lost a longtime football and track and field coach Oct. 6, when Rob Santos died. Last Saturday, the school honored his memory at a ceremony at Kunuiakea Stadium. Santos was an All-State offensive lineman for the Warriors and returned to Kapalama to coach for more than 30 years.
