Polynesian Bowl officials confirmed this weekend that Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who was named the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year, will attend the Hall of Fame dinner the night before the 2019 Polynesian Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 19, at Aloha Stadium. In yet another example of Hawaii being the hotbed of quarterbacks, Gatorade named Dillon Gabriel of Mililani its Hawaii Football Player of the Year on Thursday. The Polynesian Bowl and Polynesian Bowl Hall of Fame will host their national combine and showcase March 30-31, 2019, at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. A youth camp will be held for players in grades six through eight and a showcase/combine will be held for current freshmen, sophomores and juniors.
