‘Iolani Classic features 3 girls teams in top 13

It’s not going to be easy for the Konawaena girls basketball team to defend its 2015 ‘Iolani Classic title next week. The Wildcats are one of eight teams — four from Hawaii — to participate in the three-day tournament that runs from Thursday to Saturday at ‘Iolani’s Lower Gym. Wrestlers are still working into shape, but the Sabers will host a senior night event under the spotlight with full introductions in a dual-meet format against Moanalua. It wasn’t a typical Wednesday morning on the Saint Louis campus. It was absolutely memorable as students got out of class briefly. Kamehameha senior Adam Stack, one of two players from Hawaii selected to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 7, in San Antonio, received his jersey today in a presentation on campus.
