Tua tells Alabama he won’t visit LSU

Saint Louis quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is making his official visit to Alabama, and the way it sounds it is a mere formality. The state champion’s father, Galu, told a reporter there that Alabama is their only choice whether offensive coordinator Lane Kiffen moves on to LSU or not. Kaniho, 5 more in for Polynesian Bowl

After initially declining an invite so he wouldn’t miss time with the Kahuku basketball team, senior cornerback Kekaula Kaniho has formally accepted an offer to play in the 2017 Polynesian Bowl. Kaniho, who is one of the top contenders for All-State defensive player of the year honors, had five interceptions he returned for touchdowns this season, falling one short of the national record. Saint Louis sophomore Faatui Tuitele wasn’t the only Crusaders to receive some good news from Vanderbilt this week. June Jones joining Saint Louis

After more than 30 years in coaching, June Jones is moving into administration as Saint Louis School’s new director of athletic programs and development, the school said. “He (Jones) will be overseeing the athletics program as far as helping our students reach not only athletic excellence but also academic excellence, which is really a big part of why he wanted to be at Saint Louis,” said Glenn Medeiros, head of school for Saint Louis. “He really cares about Hawaii’s kids.” […]
