When Kamehameha opened its Maui campus, the varsity football program had all kinds of possibilities. One big obstacle: the tradition and success of Lahainaluna. If you had to choose one coach to possibly outwit Saint Louis legend Cal Lee, Punahou’s Kale Ane would be near the top of the list. The legends will face off for the 15th time on Saturday at Aloha Stadium, and Ane can pull up behind former Damien and Pac-Five coach Don Botelho with his fifth win over Lee.
