The Saint Louis Crusaders looked very much like the No. 12 team in the nation Friday night. Can they inch up farther than that? There’s plenty of time to try, with the whole season ahead. Hoku Arias was all over the place Friday night. He was part of a gnarly defense for the Kamehameha Warriors in a grueling, 21-7 victory over Kapolei in a historic OIA-ILH alliance opener at Aloha Stadium. Defense led the way for the Kamehameha Warriors, who had five first-half sacks against Kapolei in a 21-7 victory on Friday night at Aloha Stadium. Hoku Arias, their stellar linebacker, had three of those sacks and added a 2-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to break a 7-all stalemate. It was the Open Division opener for both teams.
