High school football fans can watch the Farrington football team’s Saturday game against Carson (Carson, Calif.) streaming live. The Governors are making their first trip to the mainland for a game since losing 19-0 to Ponderosa (Calif.) in 1979 with Boyd Higashi at quarterback and Junior Amisone leading the way at running back. Punahou DB named Polynesian Bowl All-Star

Punahou defensive back Kaulana Makaula has been selected a Polynesian Bowl All-Star. The announcement came tonight on Cover2: Hawaii High School Football weekly on KHON2. Makaula, who is 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds, can play both defensive back and safety. He holds scholarship offers from Brigham Young and Hawaii.
