Video: Waipahu vs. McKinley

Part 1

Part 2

The Marauders like their black flag. They like to hike it up after a victory. A win over McKinley would’ve qualified as a big win, but it wasn’t to be.

Underdog Waipahu had a solution for the fleet feet of McKinley running back Gerime Bradley and the bulldozing inside running of quarterback/running back/linebacker Mathias Tuitele-Iafeta. They loaded the box with eight and sometimes nine defenders. Tuitele-Iafeta responded by launching bomb after bomb to Tyrell Tuiasosopo.

The Tigers aren’t the deepest of playoff teams, but they have star power, stars who love to work. Ironmen who play both sides of the ball, special teams, anything asked of them. It showed on Friday night.
