No. 10 Kapolei visits No. 2 Kahuku in the quarterfinals of the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I playoffs. The Red Raiders score 28 unanswered points to advance, getting a TD pass from Sol-Jay Maiava to Duke Heffernan on the final play of the first half.


With no time on the clock, Kahuku quarterback Sol-Jay Maiava scrambles away from Kapolei’s pass rush to fire a 21-yard touchdown pass to Duke Heffernan for a 28-7 lead going into the half. Kahuku went on to win 35-7, advancing to the OIA semifinal round
