Lopsided, yes. But it was an interesting matchup nonetheless. Kahoalii Karratti had a solid performance playing quarterback against his old team (Konawaena). Kaiser’s defense was well prepared for Konawaena, a team that beat every BIIF foe this season, including D-I champ Hilo.

Kaiser was simply too deep, too big and too fast. Next up: the Cougars fly to play Lahainaluna on Saturday. Later this week, I’ll post the video interview of Coach Rich Miano sharing his thoughts about Lahainaluna.
