No. 7 Leilehua dug deep into the well and turned a scoreless battle into a 13-7 victory at Hugh Yoshida Stadium. Mules coach Mark Kurisu shared his thoughts about ousting the Marauders and all the game-within-a-game adjustments at the point of attack. Waipahu coach Bryson Carvalho shared his gratitude and appreciation following the final game for senior running back Alfred Failauga, Hawaii’s all-time statewide rushing leader. Failauga finished with 5,795 rushing yards and 62 rushing TDs on 940 attempts in 39 games.
