It’s loser goes home in the OIA playoffs tonight as 10th-ranked Kaiser heads West to face No. 2 Mililani. Kickoff is 7 p.m.

6 p.m. update: Kaiser is off the bus and it looks like junior linebacker Parker Higgins isn’t going to play tonight. He’s got his jersey on but is in shorts and slippers and listening to music while his teammates get ready. Higgins injured his knee in the fourth quarter in a 54-48 win over Moanalua last week. Also checking on the status of Nicolas Tom, who suffered a head injury last week against Na Menehune and was taken off the field in an ambulance.

Both Tom and Higgins are indeed out. Two huge blows to the Kaiser defense. Mililani will be without WR Kalakaua Timoteo (32 rec, 669 yds, 5 TD).

CORRECTION: We do have a Parker Higgins sighting late in the first quarter on offense. Looks like Higgins is giving it a go.

WR Kainoa Wilson, who was injured in Mililani’s season-opening win over Saint Louis, is one of the game captains for the Trojans and is expected to play.

Mililani wins the toss and will receive.

First quarter

Turnover on the first play as Judd fires a bullet that hits Destin Moss in the gut. Moss bobbles it and the ball pops into the air and is pikced off by Palaie Gaoteote. Milton to Roman Tovi for a 20-yard TD and just like that it’s 14-0 Trojans.

Cougars get a first down as Judd scrambles for 8 yards and is hit way late out of bounds. Manu picks up Mililani’s second sack of the game to force a third-and-14. Judd under pressure again and gets off an incomplete pass. Mililani’s DL has dominated early. Cougars punt.

Milton-to-Wilson for a 66-yard TD on the first play and Kaiser’s pass d is nonexistent. Touchdown Trojans. PAT is blocked. 20-0, 2:15, Q1. Mililani has scored touchdowns on its last three offensive plays from scrimmage.

Third-and-9 and McDaniel takes the option pitch 9 yards but Kaiser is whistled for holding. On the previous play, it looked like Parker Higgins was in fact in the game. There was a No. 10 for Kaiser. Cougars have to punt again and it’s shanked. Mililani takes over on the Kaiser 30.

It takes three plays for Mililani to score this time as Vavae Malepeai runs in for a 5-yard TD run. 27-0, 29.8, Q1.

Another three-and-out for Kaiser as Isaiah Pongasi-Adric hauls in an 11-yard catch on third-and-12. Kaiser does indeed punt.

Kaiser goes 80 yards in 12 plays as Mililani helps out with two personal foul calls. Jensen McDaniel with his 20th rushing touchdown of the season on a 2-yard option run and it’s 33-7 with 2:52 remaining in the second quarter.

Kaiser with a short kick that lands at the 35. Trojans aren’t ready and Ocean Ku-au recovers it for Kaiser. First-and-10 at the Mililani 30. Cougars run it three times for a net of zero yards as Mililani’s defense has been great against the run. Fourth-and-10 and Kaiser calls timeout. Judd’s pass is overthrown on fourth down and Mililani dodges a bullet.

Milton with a 23-yard completion to Bronson Ramos. Milton drops back and takes off. 58-yard TD run is called back because of a hold. Now a delay of game. Tovi drops a pass and it’s Milton’s first incomplete pass in the game. Third-and-1 and Malepeai takes a screen for a first down but a holding call on Mililani. A 43-yard pass to Ramos is complete and then Ramos on a 27-yard reception. Milton spikes it with 10 seconds left. Incomplete to an open Wilson in the end zone.
