@49 comments and that should be it and like some people take it very personal but it’s all fun enjoyment except those English major and part time over qualified journalist who always want to show their colors.

Misspelled semantics, jargons, and pidgin English should not be attack whereas if you can’t understand the sentence structure then your comm skills indicate that you’re not home grown local islander or a dedicated transplant. Like stick to the subject main point and leave out all them unnecessary trash talk like them have no place here and some are pilau unhealthy.

Nah I am okay sir. I prefer not living in poverty. I do want want to live in a community who shiver when it’s grade times. I prefer to live in a community that values education and making smart decisions. I enjoy creating the opportunities for my children to attend private school, use the knowledge gained there to apply for 7 colleges and get into all of them. And I am proud of being a part of a school community where my children can network to create more business opportunities that allow themselves to pay off their student loans of $250,000 in under 8 years while making a comfortable living where they are almost debt free after buying a large home in the Palo Alto area.

You can take your football trophies. I prefer my children’s California Berkeley & Stanford degrees to a Hawaii High School trophy. Do the kids even get a trophy? Or do they just leave it at school?

Um I believe getting a 4.0 at High School and scoring 1560 on my SAT is hacking it up quite well. I am guessing that you did not even get the 400 free points for putting your name on the test.

Don’t worry, you can sit down on your park bench being homeless in your 30’s reminiscing about playing High School Football when your life peaked at age 22 (year I know you flunked 4 times).

If that is the requirement to be in your group, please count me out!

Um, the data shows that you are incorrect. But again, I guess opinions on learning is relative and differs.

And how about working hard and making money to make the academic conditions better? If I donated money you guys would probably use it to buy new helmets. It’s the community’s fault for having such poor academics. It’s time to put on your big boys pants and something now. But you won’t. You will continue to make excuses, point fingers, and relish in the fact that you have a really good football team at the expense of academics.

But hey, it’s cool to have a life that peaked at 18!

I believe “Educationfirst” is also the user from last year “EManoa” that talked so much crap about Kahuku that it fired up Kahuku to lay the smack down in the state tourney.

Keep talking Educationfirst you are only going to make it harder for your ILH teams in the playoffs.

*He is playing right into our hands – heeeeheeeeheeee

I find it amazing that my comments would make a really good team like Kahuku play any harder.

What is more amazing is how my words make you want to be better at football but not better in the classroom where it really counts.

But it’s okay if it takes your kids 2 minutes to recite the alphabet, can only count to 20 (with their shoes off to help), score the lowest or near the lowest in the state on the SBAC, and will eventually live in a tent.

That’s cool! On Friday nights they win! It’s too bad they win in football but do not win in life!

@education first. With the money you make, why don’t you start a foundation where you can offer Low income kids a better education. This will help your taxes. And, your money will not only give them a better education, it will help them become bloggers that will educate uneducated parents. Lol…

Maam, I sit on a non-profit board for a prominent non-profit. We provide monies for low income housing. We make donations to public and charter schools. We provide monies for Boys and Girls Club, IHS, and other community enters.

Unfortunately we target groups that want to get better and will spend the money wisely. Based on the community support and lack of academics, providing assistance to Kahuku for academics isn’t a wise business decision. Thank you for your opinion though.

I have to use graduates as examples because you asked for examples of successful Kahuku football players you turd. Now if you want examples of current football players I would say look at the athletes on the team now who are being offered FULL ride scholarships from schools such as Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, BYU, UTAH, UCLA etc…. Not just 1 or 2 players now but a handful of these kids are being offered. Do you think these schools would throw away $100,000 scholarship offers on kids who don’t meet their academic standards? Get back to your lettuce Bradah. And I will turn on my spell check when you turn on your grammar check. Judging from previous posts Education wasn’t 1st on your priority list.

Once again no names being use. No credible evidence. Man you are great at composing pieces that wouldn’t convince a 3 year old. I can do it too!

Waialua Football Players over the past 5 years have gotten football scholarships from Alabama, Ohio State, Florida, Michigan, Michigan State, UCLA, and USC among the many others. Do you think these schools would throw around money?

And you are so dumb! What football scholarship is only worth $100,000 now days? Do you think this is 1990 still? With housing, meals, tuition, books, lab fees, etc., you would be lucky if an athletic scholarship was only $100,000. It’s closes to $200,000-$250,000 your retard.

But hey, you were really close. $100,000-$150,000 is really close! First of all, I will give you credit. I didn’t think you could count or even write $100,000. So kudos to you!

And once again you list a few people. So based on the total number of graduates over the past 5-10 years that is like 5-10 out of around 1220-2400 kids?

Yeah that is really great odds to make something of yourself after graduating! So your number is now 0.0020-0.0081.

Man those are some great odds! Are you really this DUMB? You put numbers (although with no names to substantiate your evidence) and you think that strengthens your argument?

I am not sure but I think the range of 0.0020-0.0081 of Kahuku Graduates (assuming they can graduate) going to college or getting a football scholarship is very low.

But you obviously think it’s high since you wrote it!

BWAHAHAHAHHABWAHAHHA! 88 you kill me. You are the state champion for being a dumb person! HAHA.

Didn’t think so….. And how can you not know of the 2 Bro. from Kahuku who have SuperBowl rings? I mean how many brothers from Kahuku let alone Hawaii have Super Bowl rings. I think the pesticides from the lettuce you wash everyday is seeping into your skin… Wow

I’m wondering what line has to be crossed before someone is actually banned from this site? Some of these comments are beyond distasteful and ignorant. As a fan of all of our young kids who participate in sports across our state, I appreciate Hawaii Prep World for the coverage. But, this site also appears to be a forum where it is allowed to degrade those very kids and their communities/schools from which they are proudly from and/or represent. In my opinion, this is no longer about the few individuals who embarrass themselves repeatedly by what they write, but more so about WHO is allowing these types of individuals continued access.

I heard that a Kahuku alumni “NFL player” donated some shoes for the football boys a few years back. And that “donation” never made it to the team. Where did it go? You would need to ask the Coach. I do believe that aside of a successful Kahuku football program. They also have a great graphic arts designing & printing program out there. I hear it generates a great amount of revenue.
As for progess to excell in education, I wouldn’t know. Public school education is the same anywhere you go. Its what the kids make of it to push themselves further. We all know that athletes get the “special treatment” as an advantage to gain opportunity. Its very hard to believe that these elite & pro athletes are making through school when they can’t even pass a written drivers licenses permit test or taking freshman English or Geometry as a senior. If we all don’t want to believe it, it is happening in every school. Fix the grades to play, colleges slide the kids in with a low SAT.

  18. Education First September 7, 2016 1:10 pm

88 I recommended to the Waialua AD that he should hire you. He said your resume and knowledge is too advanced for Hawaii Football. He recommended the NFL for you.

He said your understanding of numbers, measurables, and metrics would revolutionize the NFL if any team chose to hire you.

    I agree.

  19. Education First September 7, 2016 1:12 pm

If you going trash talk… Do it across the board… To everyone. If you only do it to those who you feel superior to… Then that’s bullying. Society nowadays are trying to eliminate bullying.
Btw…. Folks from LAS, feel that BG going kick your rear ends and send you back home as losers. So what I say, let’s hear the same things you tell all the other writers on his post. Don’t all of a sudden become humble because you going play someone you think you might lose to.

Do you think that only kahuku trash talks? Yes,we do have few of stupid fans that do trash talk and some impersonators try to instigate things. As for me on BG game I know we don’t have a chance but our supporters is going to believe we can win even by just saying it out loud to everyone. What you expect us to just be afraid of be BG. That’s the beauty of kahuku football is that we will play anybody anywhere whether we win or lose by a thousand we will support that’s just red raider pride.

My comment was toward the few…. and probably the ones we all hear and read. You know what would be hilarious though…. is the few that talk all the trash from RR… are the ones that kept the bench warm during the tough games.
Thank you for your comment… and to you, best of luck to your boyz and proud that they’ll represent the 808.
