Clock winding down yet Solomon is in there and just threw four consecutive passes with less than 4 minutes to go.

Tigers drive to the Kaimuki 20 but are stopped on fourth down.

Kaimuki comes right back in three plays. Solomon takes a lick on the throw but it’s caught by Lemalu. Perfect deep ball for a 35-yard TD.

Buchanan back at QB and she hands off to Lopes-Liutolo, it’s a trick play. He finds Jordan Kanakanui WIDE OPEN for a 74-yard TD. Tigers on the board. 35-6, 2:56

Asuega-Fualaau with a 48-yard return on the punt and Kaimuki starts on the McKinley 40. Seei-Cleveland with a 24-yard run and he’s over 100 yards rushing in the game. Seei-Cleveland (19 carries, 112 yards) with a 5-yard TD run 35-0, 4:20.

Nu’u Koli in at QB. Frank Steffany at RB and he picks up 15 on his first carry. Two more carries net 10 yards and move the chains again. Tigers will punt as Koli’s first pass is way overthrown.

Solomon drops the snap and is in some trouble on third down but flicks it off to the running back and he gets 17 on third-and-17 for the first down. Next pass is an up-and-go to Saburban Castillo for a 34-yard TD. Three TD passes for Solomon. 28-0, 8:52.

Bulldogs call timeouts after two McKinley runs to force a punt. A bad snap goes for a loss of 27 yards to the McKinley 8. Bulldogs take over with 31 seconds to go. Solomon to Seei-Cleveland for an 8-yard TD pass with 24 seconds to go.

Buchanan (3-4, 7 yards, INT) is back out for her fourth drive. Bulldogs call timeout after a 2-yard run. Clearly they want the ball back but Buchanan uncorks her second deep ball of the game and Kaimuki is called for holding. Good chance the ball would have been caught. Tigers go empty and Buchanan hits Jonah Stephens for 5 yards. McKinley calls timeout. Ball at the Tigers 42.

Bulldogs ball at the McKinley 45. Solomon has a receiver open deep but Emilio Paul with a great play to knock it down for McKinley. Fourth-and-1 at the McKinley 22 with 3 minutes to go and Seei-Cleveland powers up the middle for 2 yards and a first down. Seei-Cleveland with a 1-yard TD run with 1:55 to go to make it 14-0.

Tigers ball at the 20. Buchanan goes play action from under center and completes a pass for a yard but Lopes-Liutolo comes in on third down and gets sacks for a loss back to the 10. McKinley punt.

Samuelu with another nice tackle at the line for McKinley. Fourth-and-7 at the 25. Richard Burton tries a 42-yard field goal and misses it to the left.

McKinley stopped twice for a total of no yards on runs. On third-and-10 Lopes-Liutolo takes the snap at QB and has his pass tipped and picked off by Torey Faimealelei. Suliveti Nisa tipped it at the line.

Bulldogs at the McKinley 25 when first quarter ends. A heavy dose of Ieke Seei-Cleveland (8 carries, 46 yards) on this drive before QB Jordan Solomon hits Elijah Lemalu on a quick slant for a 4-yard TD pass. 7-0 Bulldogs.

Tigers start on their 23. Third-and-12 and Buchanan finds Byron Rellin for a short 3-yard gain. McKinley punts.

Bulldogs start from their 43. A holding call wipes out a nice run and then Anthony Jim with a TFL followed by a sack by Ezekiel Samuelu. Kaimuki punts.

Sophomore Alexandria Buchanan starts at QB for the Tigers, who begin at their 20. She draws Kaimuki offsides with a hard count before first snap. After a 2-yard run, Kaimuki comes early on a blitz and is again offsides. Buchanan’s first pass is a screen to Laulii Iosefa for a 3 yards on third-and-13. McKinley will punt. Bulldogs called for roughing the kicker and it’s first down McKinley at the Tigers 47. Sioeli Lopes-Liutolo busts off a 27-yard run into Kaimuki territory. Third-and-11 and it’s a handoff to Lopes-Liutolo for a loss. They go for it on fourth-and-12. Empty backfield. Pass is intercepted by Kyle Viyavong and returned 88 yards for a TD…nope. Flag on the return. Buchanan’s second pass is picked off however. First drive took more than six minutes off the clock.

Kaimuki wins the toss and will defer. McKinley will get the ball first.

NOTES: Kaimuki won the last game after losing the previous two, but the Bulldogs haven’t beaten the Tigers at Roosevelt since 2011. Kaimuki is 5-0 when having a rusher go over 100 yards against McKinley. McKinley hasnt had a rusher gain 100 yards against Kaimuki since Chris Quiocho in 2004, a span of eight games. McKinley is 6-0 against Kaimuki when its QB throws for more than 143 yards and 3-0 when it has a receiver go over 90 yards. McKinley has scored 50 points in its last two games, its highest total since the OIA playoffs in 2013 when it scored 35 against Kailua and 36 against Waipahu.
