(3:10) Rams with two plays for negative yardage and ‘Iolani calls a timeout. Third-and-14. What a GREAT throw from Copp down the ‘Iolani sideline to Damon Nelson for 26 yards between two defenders. Excellent throw and catch. First down. Another first down into ‘Iolani territory and LB Brock Hedani hurt on the play. Looks like his right knee but he gets up and hops into a cart on his own. Encouraging sign. Rams ball first-and-10 at the 44. Lanakila Pei with a second-down sack for a loss of 12. Copp 18-30 for 130 yards but ‘Iolani calls final timeout to force a punt with 1:04 remaining in half. Another bad snap and the punter completes his second pass of the game but it’s well short. Raiders ball.

(7:49) Rams ball on the 20. Rams have been decent on third down as they complete another on an inside shove pass to Taias Savea to get into ‘Iolani territory. Radford has to punt and the snap is high. Maka’ala Sakimi gets it and eludes a defender and then complete a pass but tackle is made. Loss of 26 yards. ‘Iolani ball.

(12:00) Iolani ball on the 30 to start quarter 2. Radford’s Matai Suitonu ejected for the game after a late hit penalty out of bounds. Clearly unnecessary. Refs must have seen a punch. It was close. Raiders have a fourth-and-1 at the 17 but move early. Fourth-and-6 and they bring on Makekau. Her kick is just wide left. No good.

(4:25) Raiders go 78 yards in seven plays as Carter Kamana makes a man miss and takes it in for a 23-yard TD pass from Chong, who is 9-for-10 for 117 yards and two TDs. Mika Makekau 2-for-2 on XPs. 14-0, 2:24.

(9:29) Ball on the Radford 28. Senior Hunter Copp at QB. Copp finds Emmanual Stevenson for 8 yards on third-and-8 to move the chains. ‘Iolani gets a stop but is then whistled for encroachment on the punt to give up a first down. Another third-down completion, this one to Tavian Bryant, to move the chains again. This time a drop on third down. Rams will go for it fourth-and-8 at the ‘Iolani 22. Timeout Rams first. A 15-play drive ends with an incomplete pass on fourth down. ‘Iolani takes over.

(11:54) ‘Iolani starts on its 30. Junior Jonah Chong at QB and senior Kaua Nishigaya at RB. Chong goes 4-for-5 for 48 yards on the drive and hits Jonah Miyazawa on an 11-yard TD on third down for a 7-0 ‘Iolani lead.

SERIES HISTORY: ‘Iolani leads 7-0
NOTES: This is Radford’s first trip to ‘Iolani despite the long history of both schools. The Rams have never beat the Raiders anywhere, going 0-7 with ‘Iolani winning the last meeting 42-6 in 2016 and only one of the meetings having a margin of fewer than 10 points, a 22-16 win by ‘Iolani in 2006. Radford has never had a receiver game more than 77 yards against ‘Iolani and only Alex Daniels rushing for more than 69 yards with a 138-yard effort in 2005. ‘Iolani has had a receiver go over 100 yards in the last two meetings against Radford and has had a rusher go over 100 yards against them in six of eight meetings.
