Only two ranked teams are in action Friday night in a seven-game slate scheduled for Oahu.

Kahuku and Waianae appear to have the top two spots locked up in the OIA Blue. Moanalua (3-2, 2-2) heads to Ewa Beach to play Campbell (2-3, 2-2) in a game that could likely determine which team ends up with the No. 3 seed. Moanalua WR Ryan Ramones currently leads the state with 781 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns in five games.

HISTORY: Campbell leads the all-time series 12-5 but Na Menehune picked up the win last year, 28-20. Current Moanalua QB Alakai Yuen threw for 238 yards in that game.

Live updates of the approximately 7:30 p.m. kickoff will follow below:

10:37—Campbell comes up empty on its possession of overtime. But Noah Empron comes up with an INT to extend the game.

10:28—We’re headed to OT in Ewa Beach. Campbell had first-and-goal at the 10 but stalled at the 6 and a FG attempt with 39 seconds left didn’t clear the line of scrimmage. Moanalua’s last ditch drive ended with an interception.

9:52—Moanalua 6, Campbell 6 end third quarter.

9:32—Moanalua opens the second half with a 10-play drive aided by three Campbell penalties. Alakai Yuen throws a 12-yd TD pass to Ryan Ramones. PAT failed. Na Menehune up 6-0, 7:09 Q3.

9:04—Moanalua and Campbell scoreless at halftime. Campbell safety Jaylen Ignatowski intercepts a pass for his second takeaway of the first half and returned it to the Na Menehune 10 with 11 seconds left. But QB Kawika Ulufale slips on his drop for a 9-yard loss with 6 seconds left and his throw into the end zone is broken up by Isaiah Jackson. The teams combined for four interceptions and two lost fumbles in the half. Campbell with five first downs to Moanalua’s three.

8:40—Still scoreless at the end of the first quarter. Campbell drive stalls at the Moanalua 31 and a punt pins Na Menehue inside the 5.

8:16—The teams exchange fumbles on the game’s first two possessions. Moanalua’s Kea Rodrigues comes up with an interception and Na Menehune drive to the Campbell 6, but Campbell LB Iosua Sevao breaks up a pass on fourth down to give the ball back to the Sabers.

7:28 p.m. — Campbell scores with 1:09 left and rallies to win the JV game 42-35. Varsity game coming up in about 25 minutes.
