9:46: Gleason catches an apparent winning TD pass from Canyon, but it’s called back by a holding call. Gleason still gets 18 yards to the Nanakuli 11 with 23 seconds left in fourth quarter.
9:42: On the Golden Hawks’ next possession, Pearl City’s Bishop Faomai intercepts a pass. Chargers’ ball at the Nanakuli 33. 0:45 left in fourth quarter.
9:36: The Chargers strike. After a 54-yard pass to Cruz-Ameperosa sets up a 10-yard Canyon TD pass to Joshua Gleason. Canyon then finds Juan Vargas for the 2-point conversion. NANAKULI 28, PEARL CITY 28, 1:33 left in fourth quarter.
9:30: From the 10, Crawford keeps it up the middle and moves the pile and moves the pile some more on a play that takes about 10 seconds. He pushes his way into the end zone for a 10-yard TD. Crawford then runs home the 2-point conversion. NANAKULI 28, PEARL CITY 20, 2:03 left in fourth quarter.
9:26: A Crawford 21-yard run and a Josh Mahuka 17-yard gain pushes the ball to the Pearl City 25. 3:14 left in fourth quarter.
9:19: Pass interference against Nanakuli pushes the ball to the Golden Hawks’ 20. But the Chargers lose ground on two penalties and an 18-yard tackle for loss by the Golden Hawks Cameron Vaivai. The Chargers will be punting.
9:17: Canyon hits Preston Hong with a 32-yard pass to the Nanakuli 38.
9:16: The Pearl City defense holds, giving its offense the ball at its 29.
9:13 9:02: The Golden Hawks take over at the 30. After a quick first down, Crawford goes up the middle for 18 yards to the Pearl City 35.
8:58: On the next play, Canyon scores on a 4-yard keeper. The extra point try by Chang is no good. NANAKULI 20, PEARL CITY 20, 11:08 left in fourth quarter.
8:56: A facemask penalty on Nanakuli and a 16-yard pass from Canyon to Kainuma Maddox moves the ball to the Golden Hawks’ 4.

8:52: Canyon throws a long one to Cruz-Ameperosa. The play covers 33 yards. Then Canyon finds Gleason for a 21-yard gain. Pearl City ball at the Nanakuli 38.
8:50: Nanakuli’s Lexsien Kunukau, who has been a hound in the Pearl City backfield all night, sacks Canyon for a 4-yard loss.
8:48: On a fourth down and 2 from the 15, Hauhio goes up the middle, makes a couple of jukes and finishes a 15-yard touchdown run. Crawford’s 2-point pass to Paz is good. NANAKULI 20, PEARL CITY 14, 1:38 left in third quarter.
8:43: Pearl City gets pushed back, thanks to a tackle for loss by Nanakuli’s Chazton Kawelo. The Chargers punt from their own end zone and the Golden Hawks take over on the Pearl City 32.
8:39: Three incomplete passes in four downs doesn’t get it done for Nanakuli. The Chargers take over on downs on their 15.
8:37: A personal-foul penalty on Pearl City pushes the Nanakuli ball to the Chargers’ 32. Some hard running by Crawford then moves the ball to the 20.
8:30: Chargers take the second half kick, but wind up getting pinned. They punt from inside their own end zone. Nanakuli ball at the Chargers’ 467.

8:08: Crawford runs for a first down and passes to Royce Wilms for another first down, but time is running out in the half.
8:02: Canyon’s 18-yard pass to Juan Vargas and backup QB Rastin Tobosa’s 14-yard pass to Preston Hong leads to Canyon’s 31-yard rainbow-arc, touchdown pass to a wide-open Ameperosa-Cruz. Chang kicks the extra point. PEARL CITY 14, NANAKULI 12, 1:58 left in second quarter.
7:55: The Chargers’ defense comes through, holding Nanakuli’s offense down. The Golden Hawks punt it away. Chargers ball at their 42.
7:50: On the next play, Canyon throws a short pass to Alii Gaspar, who runs it home for a 5-yard touchdown. Landon Chang kicks the extra point. NANAKULI 12, PEARL CITY 7, 6:20 left in second quarter.
7:48: A Canyon to Cruz-Ameperosa pass covers 37 yards to the Nanakuli 5.
7:45: A roughing-the-kicker penalty gives a first down to Pearl City.
7:42: Once again, the Chargers can’t get a first down and will be punting it away.

7:20: A 17-yard Crawford to Paz pass and a 16-yard Crawford run brings the Nanakuli ball to the Pearl City 24. But four plays later, the Golden Hawks turn the ball over on downs. Chargers ball at their 35.
7:16: But the turnover bug bites for the third time. Canyon throws a fourth down pass into the end zone and it’s intercepted by Nanakuli’s Kawika Keopuhiwa.
7:15: On the Chargers’ next possession, Canyon hits Isaiah Cruz-Ameperosa with a 43-yard pass to the Golden Hawks’ 20.
7:10: Four plays later, Crawford zips a bullet to Paz for an 8-yard touchdown. Crawford’s 2-point conversion run attempt fails. NANAKULI 12, PEARL CITY 0, 6:47 left in first quarter.
7:08: A bounding onside kick by Nanakuli is recovered by the Golden Hawks’ Randy McCabe at the Pearl City 32.

7:03: Starting from the 3, Pearl City fumbles again on first down. This time, Alii Gaspar gives it up and Nanakuli’s Prestiege Kaho’okele-Himalaya recovers at the Chargers’ 1.
7:00: The Golden Hawks get stuffed on fourth and goal from the 3, as Tahj Hauhio is stopped by the Chargers’ Tristen McKinney.
