(8:46) Kaiser on the Wolfpack 38 and junior Brock Perriera in at QB for the first time this season. Kaiser stalls but then Kyler Halvorsen with a 53-yard field goal for the Cougars. That’s 4 yards shy of the state record I believe.
(10:18) Pac-Five ball on its 20. Cole Cadinha gets in on the action with a third-down sack to force a punt.
(11:05) Kaiser ball on its 25. Third-and-long and Easton Yoshino dials up the perfect ball between two defenders on the post route and Mason Yoshino is GONE. 79-yard TD puts this game to bed. Kaiser up 23-0. 10:18, Q4.

(3:04) Pac-Five ball at its 20. Duke Minihan with a big sack for Kaiser for a loss of 12. Angelo Coluccio with a 16-yard reception after making a defender miss but it’s still a three-and-out. A little bit of a fumbled snap and Micah Kong takes off. He is short of the marker but Kaiser is called for targeting on the hit. First down at the Wolfpack 42. End 3.
Falls with a nice 17-yard punt return and Kaiser has it at the Pac-Five 28. 3:21 on the clock. Lime breaks multiple tackles and nearly scores but is ruled down at the 1. Next play, Yoshino to Yoshino after a fake handoff for a 1-yard TD. Cougars up 16-0, 3:04.
(3:55) Wolfpack ball on their 15. Three incomplete passes and punt.
(5:21) Kaiser ball at midfield. A nice third-down catch by Xavier Kepa at the stick moves the chains but then Kaiser punts.
(6:23) Pac-Five ball on its 20. Three-and-out.
(8:26) Kaiser ball on the Pac-Five 38. Ball quickly down to the 11 and RB Hunter Phelps grabs a ball one-handed out of the air and takes it in for a TD but a penalty moves it back. Three straight incomplete passes and then a missed 37-yard field goal that would have been TOUGH into a good wind.
(9:50) Wolfpack ball on their 30. A Kaiser personal foul penalty puts the ball at midfield but then Dre Falls comes up with the INT.
(12:00) Touchback. Kaiser ball at its 20. Pac-Five’s Joshua Arcayena with a sack to help force a turnover on downs.

After Jesse Stroede does some dancing on a punt return out to the 44 all hell breaks loose in the middle of the field. Flags everywhere. Two unsportsmanlike penalties on Pac-Five and one ejection (Junior LB Cameron Holt). Cougars ball on the Wolfpack 28. Two quick passes get it down to the 2 but a TFL by Bradley and it’s now fourth-and-goal at the 1. Timeout Kaiser. Torcia-Burke stuffs Lime at the 3 with help and Pac-Five takes over.
(11:48) Pac-Five starts on its 35. Two more TFL’s for the Kaiser defense as it’s a three-and-out but Kaiser hits the punter and it’s a first down for the Wolfpack at the 47. Pac-Five doesn’t do anything with it as a bad snap results in a loss of 22 yards. Punt.
Kaiser has it for the 12th play of the drive, third-and-goal at the 3, to start the second quarter. Yoshino finds Dre Falls near the pylon for a 3-yard TD. 7-0 Cougars, 11:55, Q2.

(5:39) Kaiser ball on its 41. Pac-Five’s Max Torcia-Burke with a sack on second down to force third-and-18 but Easton finds his brother, Mason Yoshino, for 23 yards over the middle. Ball in the red zone after a strong throw. A roughing-the-passer penalty turns third down into first-and-goal. Quarter ends with Kaiser third-and-goal at the 3.
(7:56) Wolfpack ball on the Kaiser 41. Kaiser’s Cavin Lime in on back-to-back tackles for loss, including a great read on the screen on third down to force a punt.
(8:53) Kaiser will start on its 44. Freshman Easton Yoshino at QB for the Cougars. Kaiser gets a first down but then Yoshino is picked off by Laitin Bradley, who brings it back into Cougars territory.
(11:52) Pac-Five starts on its 21. Junior Chase Hedani at QB. Wolfpack get a first down aided by a Kaiser encroachment penalty. Three runs to start out and then Hedani completes his first pass but incomplete on third down and a punt.
